# Frequently asked questions about Grand

> Answers to the most common Grand questions — account recovery, trading mechanics, Dopamine Mode safety, fees, and minimum transaction limits.

Whether you're troubleshooting access to your account, trying to understand how a specific trade works, or checking what fees to expect, this page covers the questions Grand users ask most. If you can't find what you're looking for, reach out to the support team from within the app.

## Account and security

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="I lost my phone. Can you restore my wallet?">
    Yes. Because your account is secured with a **Passkey**, you don't lose access when you lose your device.

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Sign in on your new device">
        Download Grand on your new phone and sign in with the same **Apple ID** you used when you created your account. Your Passkey is tied to your Apple ID, so the app recognizes you automatically.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Restore via Family Sharing (optional)">
        If you have **iCloud Family Sharing** set up, you can also use that cloud connection to restore access. This is an alternative path if you run into any issues with the standard sign-in flow.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

    <Note>
      You never need a seed phrase or private key to recover access on Grand. Your Passkey handles everything.
    </Note>

  <Accordion title="Can I delete my account if I still have money in it?">
    Yes, you can delete your account at any time — even if your wallet still holds a balance.

    <Warning>
      If you delete your account while funds remain, **you will lose access to those funds permanently**. The app shows you a confirmation warning before you proceed, but if you confirm the deletion, the remaining balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered.
    </Warning>

    Make sure you withdraw all funds to an external wallet before initiating account deletion.

## Trading

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is the difference between 'Buy with Cash' and 'Pay with My Assets'?">
    Both options let you acquire assets, but they use different sources of funds:

    | Option                 | What it uses                                                   |
    | ---------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
    | **Buy with Cash** | Your stablecoin (USDT) balance |
    | **Pay with My Assets** | A volatile asset you already hold (e.g., Bitcoin, Apple Stock) |

    **Pay with My Assets** lets you trade one volatile asset directly for another without converting to cash first. This is useful when you want to rebalance your portfolio without going through an intermediate sell step.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I trade stocks like Tesla or Nvidia on Grand?">
    Yes. Grand lets you trade **tokenized versions** of popular stocks alongside crypto assets. These are on-chain representations of real equities, powered by [Ondo Finance Global Markets](https://ondo.finance/global-markets).

    You can trade them **24 hours a day, 5 days a week** — even when traditional stock exchanges are closed.

    <Tip>
      Check the Market tab to see all available tokenized stocks and their current prices.
    </Tip>
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is 'Dopamine Mode' risky?">
    Trading always carries risk, and Dopamine Mode is specifically designed for speed — you swipe right to buy and left to skip, moving quickly through assets.

    To keep you in control, Grand requires you to set a **Clip** (a maximum spend limit) before every Dopamine Mode session. You can never spend more than your Clip in a single session, regardless of how many swipes you make.

    <Note>
      Dopamine Mode doesn't change the underlying market risk of the assets you're trading — it just changes the speed and interface. Set a Clip that reflects what you're genuinely comfortable risking.
    </Note>
