Your Grand wallet is self-custodial — you own your keys and Grand has no access to them. That means a backup is not optional; it is the only way to recover your account if you lose your device. This page explains how to set up an encrypted iCloud backup and, if you ever need it, how to permanently delete your account.Documentation Index

What self-custody means for you
Your Grand account is fully self-custodial. In practice, this means:- Grand does not store or have access to your private keys
- Grand cannot recover your funds or reset your wallet
- All transactions are authorized only by you, using your passkey
- Securing your device and your Apple ID
- Maintaining your backup
- Any loss resulting from unauthorized access or lost credentials
Delete your account
Choose the option that fits your situation:- Permanent deletion
- Switch wallet provider
Use this option if you want to stop using Grand entirely and have already moved your funds out. After deletion, your account, private keys, and iCloud backup are permanently erased. Grand cannot recover them.
Withdraw all your funds
Make sure your Grand balance is $0.00. Any remaining assets at the time of deletion will be permanently lost.
